Herpfamily.com is a wonderful online community where reptile/amphibian enthusiasts can unite and discuss any aspect of their hobbies. There are photo contests and they even have an annual herping camping trip where members from all over the country can finally meet, put faces to a screename and have good times exploring and field-herping.
Herpfamily.com is nice because it does not focus on any specific part of the hobby, but embraces all of it and welcomes members with any interests.
